1) Yes, but he made a clear argument as to why he should be president. He went to towns that have suffered for years and told them he’d bring back their jobs and end the opioid epidemic. He didn’t have any actual solutions, but Hillary really never stated why she should be president other than it was her turn.

One, you can’t just rely on someone to be the inevitable candidate, just because people think it’s their time or because people feel like it’s the time for the first woman president.

She lost because the media (cough, cough) decided Trump was more newsworthy and so saturated the nation with free publicity for him. It’s really that simple, and it’s why he will win in 2020. Literally no one could have beaten him in the face of that.
