What if the masses simply won’t get educated unless the oppressed educate them? What if there is no alternative to the oppressed having to educate, in order to make the world better?

Why do so many gamers root against Star Citizen?

I’m sorry but you’ve got this wrong - Ego literally says “not everyone can be a great artist.” That’s part of the point of the movie, that talent is real and not everyone has it.

When Ego says “not everyone can be a great chef,” he’s correct. There’s such a thing as talent in the world, it is not evenly distributed, and the fact that this is unfair does not make it untrue.

Saving Private Ryan is a mediocre movie at best. One great battle scene followed by by-the-numbers war movie.

but what about the rest of the movie of Up. The ensuing 90 minutes. Have you tried to do a critical evaluation of that which does not rely on the good will of the first 10 minutes?

Imagine if people ever discussed Up! beyond those first ten minutes. If they did they’d probably see that it’s a tedious talking-dog movie with very little of the Pixar charm.

So characters can never evolve, never change? That’s depressing.

Huh? What about Odyssey?

Bi erasure = not cool

Fuck’s sake, that’s the most tired and worst fan theory ever.

There is literally no textual evidence for this at all. Nothing in the movie hints at it one iota. It is the most witless, pointless of fan theories, and that’s really saying something.

Are there just literally no editors

“Ferris is bad actually” is some of the most boring faux contrarian movie wisdom out there

He made $170 million so unless he really fucked up I’m guessing he still has a nest egg....

Highly, highly doubt it. He made $170 million in the NFL.

Unfortunately, many cultures take MeToo less seriously than we do. It was very much an American phenomenon and to the degree that it spread it was frequently faced with major backlash.

Because much of the world dgaf about MeToo or has an active backlash against it, like in Italy. For good or for bad the assumed politics of a progressive American urbanite blogger are not generalizable to the politics of the world.
