I think it was more effective than just blatantly pushing their cars and trucks. It was subtle and the part at the end with the appearing logos was the only "advertising" the commercial did. It hit home with a lot of people because they feel the same way.

Is that why Alfa drivers are asshats?

It's like the front end is screaming out that you are going to love his nuts...

Guaranteed he did not read the whole thing and unlikely did he even follow the link. He just saw the title of the piece and was outraged enough that he posted it on his facebook.

Yeah I can understand that. However, last time I drove to Denver, the last half of Ohio was such a pain in the ass. At least I recognized PA and Western Maryland but Ohio just made me want to fly the next time.

The closer to the city you go, the crazier you get but the reverse is also true. The closer to western Maryland the crazier you get as well. Although, it is more of a Meth-addicted redneck type of crazy. But, these are my people and must love them for who they are.

And Chrysler got bailed and bought out and Ford took a $6 billion loan from the government. If none of that happened, hundreds of thousands of people would be out jobs and we would no longer have a domestic vehicle market. Give 'em all break and focus on the future, like they are.

I guess we will never know...unless you go deeper.

I don't think it was meant to be taken that literally. (Though I think this might be a sarcastic post). I think it was supposed to be a metaphor for the lull in the action that we are going through right now. But, like I said, you were probably joking.

But it is so much fun!

And that is definitely your prerogative. I have sat in both but haven't driven either of the newest versions. It might just be me but I still prefer the Chevy.

Is that why, even with less power and a lower towing capacity, the Chevy HD beat the Ford Super Duty in a towing test at WOT in the Rocky Mountains?

Mine is pre GM but I had a 94 S-10 that I sold with 252,000 miles on and the only major thing I replaced was the radiator. I could have easily driven it for another 250k no problem. Some GM vehicles were better designed than others, that's for sure.

It might not be as ubiquitous but these things (including mine) can go for hundreds and hundreds of thousands of miles. I bet they have one of the highest survival rates of regular family cars.

YAY!!! Except mine is in grey with some petina on it...

It is definitely fun. The smells are wonderful.

Doesn't mean withdrawing the funding isn't a dick move on Komen's part. They took away money that was helping less fortunate people receive a test that could save their lives and they did it for political reasons = dick move of the highest caliber.

They were funding breast exams for those who could not afford to get one. Seems like a fine thing to do, no matter your stance on what else they do.

If I can remember correctly, actually you bake it inside the jar. It was on Lifehacker a little while ago, I believe.
