So, because you are a Christian and they considered themselves Christians then you must also align yourself with their values as well, right?

Well, while I see your point, I would have to say that there is a difference in pushing a social agenda and reporting scientific findings. Why should there be a political ideology associated with this when all they are doing is saying that because of human progress other species are dying off.

It can't be that big of a problem for the people there as it is well known enough for a reporter in the U.S. to write a story on it. If these people can live comfortably without harming anyone in a building that is ABANDONED, I see no harm in it.
