I disagree. She IS hurting other people but perpetuating the idea that a woman’s worth is solely based on her looks. If you don't understand how that is hurtful to our culture, then I don't know what to tell you.

Not really though. Just because someone chooses not to be sexually active does not mean they are asexual or that they have any hang-ups. Sometimes people just choose not to have sex and that is not abnormal at all.

I was a virgin until I was 29. I was waiting for the right person- and I didn't meet him until later in life. It happens. Not that I hate on anyone who has sex sooner- sex is a personal decision and you should be able to do it whenever you want without people judging you.

I mean, it isn’t that unlikely. If you grew up in a religious, conservative home, or just prioritized your own career goals over dating, it’s completely reasonable. Personally, I left my own upbringing behind several years ago, but I haven’t had sex yet because dating feels like a waste of time when there’s Netflix…

Why do people continually trot out that tired idea? It can be just as much about sex as it is about power. If you come at the end, it is at least in some measure about sex. If it was solely about power, these people would just be killing people, the most powerful move of all.
