I would prefer to just say two of the 3 best players in the NBA. It’s the same as two-way player, in my opinion. One can and surely does make up for the other (see James Harden still being close to a top 10 player despite his poor defense). Like calling Draymond the, “best ALL-AROUND player”. There shouldn’t be any

Crazy thing is we’re now at a point where you could begin to argue that Draymond is not only more irreplaceable than Curry (I’ve heard that before — he’s the “glue guy”), but simply the best player in the NBA. I know it’s crazy and most people reading are probably laughing, but it’s not nearly as far-fetched as people

Harden’s a bit better on offense (6th in ORPM — Lillard is 8th). Harden is a negative defensive player, but not nearly as bad as Lillard (-.79 for Harden and -2.95 for Lillard). There are only 14 players in the NBA with a worse DRPM than Lillard.

I hear what you’re saying dk, and I appreciate the respectful discourse, but I think you’re really reaching here.

Too bad Lillard is one of the worst defenders in the NBA. Makes it kinda hard to beat anybody single-handedly.
