Yeah, subtitles or not seems remarkably similar to me. When I see a foreign film and I think about it later, I can "hear" the actors speaking the lines in my head in English! So weird.

I've seen Cinema Paradiso and Il Postino. I liked them. I am not at all against foreign films, I just think too large of a percentage of them are sad. :)

Respectfully, I disagree that I am more likely to enjoy foreign films. I think a lot of the ones that make it to the US are either really depressing or have sort of inconclusive endings. I like some of them, but not a lot of them.
