Yup, you are dumb. First you said “...If I run out of gas, I can fill up and be back on the road in a few minutes”, then implied from my response that I only use my EV for commuting, of which I factually refuted in my follow-up response. Point stands even if I’m not going to work, it is far more convenient being able

The 60% less in that sentence refers to charging at home, and no a Tesla on a 240v outlet can charge to 100% in 8 hours...at a cost of less than $4 off-peak overnight...while I sleep. Your 10 minute fill up costs FAR more. Again, no one was talking about you and your commute, the national average is less than an hour

Wrong again dummy, cars are used for work overwhelmingly above all other uses. Tesla’s charging network is far and away the biggest in the US, and as I stated charging isn’t an issue for homeowners which is over 65% of people in the country. What don’t you understand exactly?

It’s irrelevant what colors they actually offer, Toyota’s best-selling colors are silver, white and black making up almost 58% of all sales across all models. Secondly, you’re comparing a company that sells almost 2.5 millions cars, has been around almost a century, has a luxury division to boot, and offers almost 9

It’s only 250 lbs. more curb weight than the Model X, has far less interior space, less storage, is slower and offer almost 100 miles less range.

Well, it has improved greatly on top of the fact they’ve only been around for 9 years, and are so far ahead of companies almost a century old that only jumped into EVS after seeing how well Tesla was selling.

Those are the top selling colors worldwide, why waste money offering something that only a few will buy? Secondly, they no longer offer silver (low selling), but at one point offer a dark green and dark gold option along with a darker red for their Signature variants. Like you said, get it wrapped with the option to

Because the Tesla colors they offer are the top selling colors worldwide for cars. If you want something different, simply wrap it, which will most likely cost less than one of these custom colors they offer, and which you can unwrap if/when you get sick of it.

Why? In performance variant it will curb stomp literally EVERY production model available while getting over 300 miles of range for under $100k. No oil changes, gas, tranny issues, brake pads until 100k. and you can warm them up in your garage with the doors closed. All this and on average costing less than $70/mo. on

“No one buying these things”...Model 3 just outsold the Accord in CA.:

But the Model 3 isn’t a “luxury EV”, you can literally buy one for mid to high 30s, and the average price of a new car in the US is $37k.

...and no o ne is forcing you to take a flight at that time either. If it’s for work, simply fly out the night before.

And what will be your excuse when Tesla releases the Plaid version? It will have over 400 miles of range and most likely be even faster than this car? Granted, it will still cost less and fit and finish will be inferior, but my point stands...Porsche has had FOUR YEARS to work on this car, and the best they can do is

Panamera and 911 sales are almost identical:

B-b-b-bu-bu-but...PRESTIGE!!!

Nope, people buy EVs for: range, environment, speed. This Porsche has FAR less range and identical speed specs to a Model S Performance for almost twice the price.

...it costs anywhere from $50-100k more, what exactly do you think you’re paying for?? It has far less range, less space, much smaller charging infrastructure, and identical to a Model S Performance!

How do you run out of gas and yet fill up somewhere?? When I’m on empty leaving for work I have to find a gas station close enough, unlike an EV which I can plug into every night at home costing more than 60% less!

No they’re not, it is smaller, with far less range and almost %50-100 MORE for a car that literally has identical specs to a Model S Performance! That comparo done in Oct. used a non-production Taycan against a 2 year-old Model S which was slower and using an older suspension (new one is Raven).
