Of the group, I can't help but think that the T-Bird was the biggest fail. It could have been something great, but instead was another example of an uninspiring Ford. It was clearly rushed together to capitalize on the retro phase, and ended up based on the wrong platform. It's one of those cars that makes me a bit

The Avalanche is rather common up here (Canada). Bunch of people I know bought one because they thought the Ford Explorer sportback was too small. I also still see a Baja on the road occasionally - it was a vehicle I always wanted, but as someone pointed out, it was always too expensive. The one that always made less

One of my earliest memories was the 4 door Eagle my parents had when I was 5. I thought it was cool then, and I still think it's cool now. Best part: My father has had *many* used cars since, and every time he gets rid of one he curses getting rid of the Eagle.

Google Music would be perfect - if it was available in Canada.

Which makes it further frustrating that the conservatives got elected - they will not change these restrictions...if anything, they will allow them to get worse.

It would be awesome if it was available in Canada...

I did feel somewhat fortunate in picking up an 08 TSX last week for 18k. Most similar cars are 22 - 24k around these parts. ALL of the lots I went to claimed the same thing - fewer off lease cars and greater demand on fuel efficient cars - when I told them their prices were a bit high.

@Tom: Isn't the idea of a sleeper really only important to those of us who appreciate cars? And wouldn't everyone who knows cars know that your Merc wagon would embarrass most cars on the road? My mom would probably be shocked at how quickly the Merc pulls away, but that doesn't make it a sleeper.

08 GTI

Pretty sure that most of the vehicles in here are, by definition, not sleepers. Anything made by BMW, Mercedes, and Audi and engineered to be driving machines; even sedate ones would never be considered a sleeper. Any Caddy -V variant? Definitely not.

Hawken *looks* really nice, but nothing in the video feels like you're piloting something LARGE. That's what I want to see. My main issue with the genre is that you get placed into a future environment that has no familiarity and removes the sense of scale. IMO, this removes anything that would differentiate it

Relying on the double yellow lines to tell you when it's safe to pass is a mistake. They are a datapoint, and that's it.
