Nice idea, but not really what's needed. Way too much manual work to get it up and running. I use Chrome a lot, but it's really frustrating that I can't get it to prioritize searching bookmarks ... I know there's a bookmark there I want, but Chrome refuses to show it.

I'm thinking instead of crumbled pretzels, that candied bacon is in order.

I have a multi-faceted approach to telemarketers:

Mini @ 2:24 is my fav, that and what I'm sure is a WTF look on the face of the pedestrian.

It takes time, but is really easy. Onions reduce very easily in a pan over medium heat if salt is added. I make French Onion soup with sweet and red onions - layer on a dutch oven with a sprinkle of salt after each handful. Medium heat, and I just leave them until reduced. Sugar and baking soda? No thanks, they

@DWD: My first thought too. I'd start with coffee in the face. End with pouring out a container of half and half cream. In between...as much violence, swearing and poor sportsmanship as I can get in.

@Zanzan42: I remember my first visit to Texas...it was Austin for work. Only missed SXSW by a week. In the cab from the airport, I asked the cabbie what the city was like. I'll always remember his response: "Safest place I've ever lived - everyone has a gun, so no one tries anything"

@Joryn: I was thinking the exact same thing. Differences are huge...and yet there are similarities too.

@SynthOno: My thought as well...I've been hoping that our increased tendency to buy smaller cars (and smaller lux cars - i.e. Acura CSX), would mean that this would be coming to Canada. Price would worry me though. Wagons rock, and this would be at the top of my list (although reality would set in and I'd probably

This had co-op multiplayer promise, but completely failed to impress. In fact, free isn't enough of a value. I'd rather them pay me to play the second to make up for the badness that was the first.

It's complete misdirection of where the problem actually lies. Typical. Rather than deal with the person that has some issue, everyone who create a map becomes a threat. It's rationale like this that causes the TSA to invade everyone's personal space because there is an extremely small percentage of psychopaths out

@this-is-me: While not all burglars are going to by-pass the kitchen, many will. That's common sense, and experience talking (our kitchen was by-passed completely, and living room/master bedroom ransacked).

@Make.Sense: First x-ray was indeed Rontgen - November 1895 (Google celebrated this with their logo last Nov). Most say it was completely accidental. First Medical picture was Rontgen again in December 1895 - his Wife's hand. He would image several other hands over the following months - his wife was probably

@Mirageowner: Exactly. Mentioned it elsewhere in the thread...but quality and crappy service will mean my current VW will be my last. They *should* be working on fixing those issues...real AND perceived.

@FiddlingWhileJimRomeBurns:

@Subarufu: I think made to fail wasn't entirely accurate. They are, however, made to be replaced in a few years while they remain completely functional. If the iPad goes through anywhere near the changes the iPod Nano has, I'm with @jsmith. Hopefully, Apple's interfaces/form factor remain somewhat static and it

I have travelled fairly frequently, and have usually looked at it differently than most.

Now playing

2nd gen Z - Without a doubt my favourite, and the only car from the 80's I'll likely add to the garage in the near future.

I used to be a fan of Panasonic gear (and Technics receivers), but favour has been waning as of late. Now, it's back.

@zekestone: I agree in principle - there is no way anyone should get stranded like this. However, that stretch is not one where anyone could just dig themselves out.
