Few films have ever gripped me like The Exorcist. It’s the combination of a truly gifted Director, a writer who adapted his own work perfectly for the screen, and Actors who fully committed themselves to their roles now matter how small they were.

How the hell is the Babadook a slasher movie? For one, no one is ever killed. And for 2, the entire premise of the movie is that it’s her grief that is causing the terrifying things to happen to her, not any type of actual person/creature wanting to harm her.  There is literally NOT a slasher in this movie.

This makes me think of how much I hated the Plop/Aaron love arc. Also the way they treated Andy was awful. It was a great show up until Michael left, and even the last season with him was pretty uneven.
