Pet Semetary, despite a couple of hokey scenes, is largely effective as a horror movie. The scenes with Zelda are absolutely terrifying and there are legitimate scenes of horror/grief where you can empathize with what the main character is doing.

Why not name the person? It’s easy to say things like this and say “A major movie person said this but I won’t name them.”  Why not out them for being an asshole?  

By early reviews this film is complete shit.  Another wonderful Kathleen Kennedy production.  How that woman hasn’t been fired yet is completely beyond me.  Every franchise she gets her hands on is driven into the ground. 

Do you think that because they spent $250 million that means that $250 million was for F/X work? The majority of that money is for marketing mainly, which Disney spends millions upon millions on, as well as paying the cast and crew. You can spend a ton of money on a movie but put very little into the actual F/X work…

If when the reviews are proven, Rotten Tomatoes will still bow to the movie studios and turn off audience reviews if they are extremely unfavorable.

Minimal money on the F/X.  

You don’t need a smear campaign to give another one of these cash grabs from Disney a bad review. The movie is ok. Halley is really good in it but everything is is mediocre. The F/X work is also absotlutely terrible. But give Disney credit, they know they can make these live action remakes with a built in fan base…

Dude wants to make money and doesn’t give a shit about what his “legacy” is.  Also, have you considered that he genuinely likes acting and doesn’t want to sit around and wait for these “accomplished” Directors to come up with an awards bait film for him?  

I’m down for the scares, as long as its not constant jump scares. 

Obama is always going to lean in the direction of where the money is. The “Flint water sip” is all you need to know about what truly motivates the man.

Not since Don’t Worry Darling has a film been so heavily promoted that will undoubtedly be slightly better than burning garbage.

Its easy to be platonic when one of the people isn’t attractive.  Seth Rogan is one of the most repugnant looking actors in Hollywood today.  Rose wouldn’t date a dude that nasty.

Not in the case of Velma.  That show is the most unfunny pos I’ve ever had the misery of sitting through. 

I don’t think its really appropriate to put a letter grade to a film like this. Its just one person with a crippling disability trying to tell his story. Opinions on it are going to be had but putting a letter grade on it just seems tacky.

Black Panther is the most laughably overrated Marvel film that has ever been released.
