In grade 1 I showed my affection for my crush by chasing him and kicking him in the nuts every day at recess.

In junior high, I was in a school production of Oklahoma! playing the villain Jud Fry. There was a scene involving the female lead that required a slap to occur. During our last show, I told her not to hold back and just slap me as hard as she could, thinking it would be fun to hear the audience’s reaction.

I used to “beat up” little boys. Who, much to my benefit, heeded their parents’ “Don’t hit girls” rule. My UFC year was second grade, so not much damage was inflicted. My reign of terror came to an ignoble end when I went to punch [redacted], tripped on my shoelaces and busted open my own chin

I used to date a girl who was functionally deaf without her hearing aid, and she once admitted to me that she just turned the thing off around people she didn’t like.

I remarked to my girlfriend after she heard about this story that “if I ever get that kind of brain damage from anything, please, pull the plug. I don’t want to survive that.”

To which she said “if I found out you got brain damage after a night in a whorehouse, I’d gladly pull the plug.”

Did the judge cite any sources of the “research” that children are better off with heterosexual parents? Because I thought the empirical evidence has shown that there is no difference in the development of children raised by homosexual couples.

Judges also don’t like to be reversed by an appeals court. It makes them look bad.

Indeed there is a long way to go. Amazes me that some people think the struggle ends at the same sex marriage decision. There are still 29 states where employment discrimination is not only rampant, yet legal. A commenter recently claimed their state to be LGBT “moderate/progressive” based soley on same sex marriage…

That’s about the size of it. Still, he begrudgingly made the right decision, and this family gets to remain intact, so it’s a win.

In most cases, they got theirs and they never actually gave a damn about anyone else. Then there are people who go out of their way to help, in spite of their success and wealth. They do exist, they’re just sadly rare, and like every other group on the planet, the blatantly rude, careless, greedy husks stand out more…

Also, she is super into her animals. If my dog were ill I would not behave rationally. If my dog were ill and people were talking about it on tmz I would not be cool. Throw pregnancy hormones on that and I imagine I would act like a crazy person.
