Hahaha oh my god I love you and so many of the things you said here. The neck thing IS true

Yeah that’s what I was thrown off by like really 66 years old ? 66?

“I as a first generation Fat-Lesbian”

That couple was clearly April Ludgate and Andy Dwyer.

Over the course of life I have found that people, in fact, often act MORE ridiculous than they are depicted to do in movies. Life (and people) is (are) fucking weird.

Hey, keep your laughs to yourself! We lost good, hardworking people during the Great Fucks Famine. Good... (tear wells in eye) good people.

That might be my favorite BCO story ever.

My sides reached orbit at “first generation Fat-Lesbian”. I only hope that one day, I too will be able to find someone who will stare down assholes while I dance to songs from the 70s.

Nobody is responding to you about the concept of tipping though. Pretty much every loyal Kitchenette reader thinks tipping should be abolished. The issue is you seem to be defending those who leave a lower tip in your original post.

Nope, read your post.

one shitton is 1000 assloads, don’t you even know units

Shitton...

Nope, just a programmer.

ikr? devil himself evicts his worst tenants, makes me imagine the opposite of this.

No, it is not a shitton extra. You are still getting a discount. No one is entitled to such a big discount that the server has to essentially pay for part of your meal.

It’s not “a shitton extra”. It’s 20% of what the total would have been. To use the first story as an example, say the bill was $20 for 2 entrees, when it would have been $40 (had they ordered 4 entrees instead).

I’ve always known my dad was one of the good guys, but even I was pretty damned impressed with that. And I’ve made a point to use his guidelines when tipping ever since.

The writing on that one is the BEST. I lost it at fleeing the great Fucks Famine of 2015.

Horrible coworkers clearly bullying a person with food allergies by eating all their birthday ice cream. Come on.

OH GOD. I haven’t even finished reading but that Funky Town story has brought actual tears to my eyes.
