Reading the article, the guy is an asshole. He was willing to compromise for her only needing to have straight hair for 4 hours at each competition. That is a whole night of work for her and would ruin her hair. That isn’t a compromise, ass.

I think if you’re socially isolated, both in real life and online (if you’re not on Facebook, etc.), it can be difficult to get people to donate, just because people don’t know you’re out there and in need. I’m wondering if that was the case with this woman?
