Some cops go for that kind of thing on purpose: doing something that causes you to flinch away from them in such a way that could be called “resisting arrest.”

That’s most of people’s “resisting”imo. Pure biological response. All the cop stans who yell about stop resisting should be subjected to those tactics and see what they would do.

I would be terrified out of my mind if I was out on a jog and someone tried to grab me. Her body probably went into full-on fight or flight mode because she thought she was being attacked - especially if she had headphones on, which tends to put you in your own little world.

As has been covered before on this site, cops are not even required to know or understand the law and as such this lack of knowledge can’t be used by the defense in court.
