I saw parallels between this setup and the colonel (Dr. Who guy) from 28 days later. Both leaders allowed certain despicable actions to give their guys hope and keep them in line.

Hey it's Whalerider, Everybody Hates Chris and the lesbian FBI agent from Flashforward (you know you watched it). Also "Carol's coming!"
Then she wouldn't be able to Vader people. Totally fits in with the Star Wars similarities.
You mean Pepper who has freckles.
Unfortunately Bolin's good nature means he probably won't use it as ruthlessly as Ghazan…unless of course something happened to Mako or Opal …or Pabu.
Zhu Li really did know how to operate that mech though. They are definitely more agile than I expected. Zhu Li reminds me of Lex Luther's assistant Mercy. Highly competent, intelligent and a good fighter although put upon by her employer. I agree she is probably playing Kuvira and hasn't betrayed Varrick despite his…
…and the fact that he did it on purpose, not because he was actually startled.
I've noticed that May's stunt double seems to be more noticeable this season. Could be due to the more acrobatic fights but Season 1 appeared to actually use Ming-Na more. That said that head smash on the coffee table a few episodes ago was epic.
Talbot did tell Christian Ward at the beginning that it most likely wasn't actually SHIELD since he at least knows Coulson well enough that he wouldn't do anything like that. Ward was playing to his electorate by not revealing this information. The Belgian guy was in on it so he knew. So other than the general public…
My thing is I keep thinking Adrienne Palicki is the only only one who can pull off playing most female superheroes (look and build) from Lady Jaye and Wonder Woman to the upcoming Carol Danvers Captain Marvel. Somebody clone her stat!
Why didn't they go all Hannibal when transporting Ward. It's almost as if Ward's brother or Coulsen (probably unlikely) expected him or planned on him escaping. At least the exercise montage explains why Ward is getting so jacked. Why SHIELD let's him do this is beyond me. Have that guy on bread and water every day…
I thought they might do that as well mirroring Empire Strikes Back before giving us full strength Korra. I do get the feeling from the trailers that Kuvira will defeat Korra initially.
Where's George Washington Bridge?? I think he ran SHIELD for a while.
I have to admit to LOL at the Hot Wheels track……..ahem…child abuse is not a joking matter,
The red costume might be a callback to her original costume during her time in the Ka-zar comics - http://goodcomics.comicbook…
Except it will be "The Road" version of Omar not "The Wire" version.
The entire zombie apocalypse genre has its roots in the vampire apocalypse of "I Am Legend" (the novel not the crappy movie) where the main character traces the vampirism outbreak to a bacterial infection. So pretty much the science explanation has always been there.
I like Zombie Kill Krew
But the actual agents must have gone somewhere sort of like when the KGB disbanded. Many became businessmen, crime bosses or even President.
I'm curious what happened to the Dai Li. Shouldn't they be doing Mako's job?
