MicroDork was bald as can be for the first year and beyond. No cute, sticky-uppy ponytails for her. But even if I had been the kind if parent to try baby bangs (and hell no, I'm not), I'm not sure it would have made much difference. Even when she was dressed all in pink, strangers always assumed boy. What good are

I'm an American (living in Calgary). You're very right. But Canada still feels like the promised land to me.

By the way, and this is a tad nitpicky, but Canada doesn't have socialized medicine. We have socialized insurance only. The government doesn't run the hospitals/clinics/Etc.

Yeah. While the Harper bucks work better for me personally, I'd much rather give them up but see a program like that come into being. And if said program was offered to university students? That would be awesome. I might actually be able to go back to school and finish my degree.

The idea is that it can help with child care costs (which then goes to child care workers), and allows people who want to work to do so a little easier. however it's, tbh, not the best way to accomplish those goals. i believe the conservatives came up with the idea.

No. No kitty cash.

I cheated and married a Canadian. :)

I spent a grand total of $0 on my first birth, and about $300 or so on my second (because it was a home birth so I had to get a few supplies and rent a birth tub, which isn't covered).

I haven't found any yet. Just sit and rice cream which do not compare.

I do use almond milk. It's just not the same (though better than soy milk at least).

Step?

Good gawd. Everywhere I turn I'm taunted by dairy foods I can't currently have (breast fed MicroDork seems to have issues, using elimination to determine if they're caused by dairy). Cereal with milk and ice cream are two of my most favourite foods. I want a blizzard so fucking bad right now.

Gawd, I really need to get around to watching the classic episodes. I'm rewatching all the new Who episodes first though.

every life must be given a chance to realize its full potential

Lt. Gov. David DOUCHEHURST is an "ugly sack of mostly dicks." >:(

Front row aisle seat with one of the parents of the spouses-to-be (assuming it is a well behaved pooch).

I live very far from my parents, and visit once, maybe twice a year. Whenever I return home my cat abandons my mom for nightly snuggles and comes to sleep next to or on top of me. She will even crawl under the covers to lie next to me and purr and sometimes she will stand over me and try to lick and lick and lick my

That last dog, in the garage, that knocked her human over to get more huggy was the best. <3

Are you still displaced? Or will you be going home soon?
