You're SO right about the First Nation lands. Siksika has gotten devastated! I've seen people on Twitter trying to pull together donations to send down. The pictures are heartbreaking. Houses almost completely underwater.

I wish our rental wasn't no pets. I'd really love to provide a temporary home for a cat or dog.

That's nothing. When I was a kid we had a dog who would run circles around the kiddie pool with just his head under the water, and his entire body outside the pool on the grass. He was special.

To be even more honest, even if I had one, I still wouldn't clean often enough. I like to think of it as building my kids' immune systems.

You can DIY or buy (on Etsy, where else?) washable fabric "swiffer" cloths. TBH, I don't particularly want THAT mop anymore than any other steam cleaner. I just want a steam cleaner.
