I think people need to find better wording, because I'm pretty sure for some women what they actually mean is that they're grateful for their own life set up because they like it and it works for their family, and happens to match the traditional rolls.

David Tennant rose the bar for *everyone* on the show, as far as quality of acting goes. With nine, everybody's acting was a tad bit shabby. Once Tennant came along, everybody improved.
