I don’t necessarily understand your complaint about this, but there is a difference between a space that has been created for learning about black women’s hair and a space that has been created for black women to commiserate about experiences with their hair.

I see this guy all the time and there is never a mess around him and he is always respectful to anyone passing by. “We’ve received some complaints” needs to be backed up by some kind of (statements signed by witnesses, etc), or go away forever. It’s a line that’s been used as a crutch by police for too long. It’s really no better than “because I said so.”
