"A Foreign Affair" is amazing simply because of the footage of post-war Berlin.

I love "Trouble in Paradise," but I esteem "My Man Godfrey." Though Trouble In Paradise is so damn good… hmmm…

It's kinda funny that Kirk Douglas's performance here is called "utterly without vanity," since "Ace in the Hole" is the most egregious example of his contractual obligation (put in at his insistence) that his movies feature at least one scene with his shirt off.
