Slow burn is good. Nice characterization for Abraham. Good development for Maggie. it's nice to get away from the crazy Rick show (even if it makes a cameo) and focus on other characters. I actually like the Abraham character so I'm really hoping all the foreshadowing is not going where it seems to be going.

You keep coming back like you think I care a full week after it never even mattered, to call someone you will never know, a dick. You want to have a think about what you are doing.

Sir, if you have nothing coherent to add, plz take your dickhead musings elsewhere. kthanxbai

no this would be terrible.

you see, you thinking I'm being a 'dick' is not supported by anything but your own limited intellect. This idea that I have to accept your wrong and stupid opinion is not a fact backed up by any empirical or objective criteria.

I think its pretty clear you can't.

Everything has been very rushed throughout the whole of the season so far. But it's only Bellamy's development that gets criticised.

I hope Ragnar doesn't go as I think the show won't survive without him. But I do agree wholeheartedly that they need to develop more rounded characters. They also need for Ragnar to evolve somehow. I feel he has stalled a little bit over the end of the last season and the eps this season so far.

that's interesting if so. It suits his character and he has always been that way throughout the show.

the episode load has been greatly expanded for this season and Ragnar is still the focal point. Ecbert/Mercia obsessing over him would be unrealistic. this is the dark ages. Mercia and Kattegat are practically different planets at this stage of human development. You just have to give it breathing space it will all

That you can't see how it's all going to connect is not much of a criticism in and of itself.

it doesn't matter what age he is. My point is that in the show we have been following him for lot less than he has 'existed'. So taking the long view the Bellamy from the end of last season is the aberration and the Bellamy of now and in the beginning is 'who he really is'.

Thanks and I fully agree. This is why I like the show it treats its characters seriously and isn't simplistic about it.

Ragnar's affectations are fast becoming a crutch for the show as it is. If it was all Ragnar all the time then the show would have been cancelled already.

Yes I want to agree wholeheartedly. I think the use of ''we'' by the reviewer is not warranted. There are criticisms to be made of the Wessex and Paris scenes but I trust they will bring it all together in an explosive way. This is a slow burn show give it time.

For me the problem wasn't Jaha or the religious faith angle but the AI. It just seems a bit deus ex machina for me and I can't see it going anywhere good. But the actual interaction of Jaha and those around him is interesting. connecting it to Polis could be interesting, but if it just descends into 'all the humans

The repetitive criticism of Bellamy is just torturous at this stage. Far worse than anything the show is doing. Especially when it seems the reviewer hasn't even bothered to engage with the actual character or, you know, the themes of the show.

he gave her his name didn't he?

oh course, they should have got me to do it. I would have killed it.

I can't hate last weeks ep just cos of Mulder & his insane line dancing LSD trip. that saved it imo.
