pity is very underrated

I can’t stand Tom Cruise as a person, but for some reason I almost always love his movies. From Taps all the way through to the new Mission Impossible. Fuck I even liked the new Mummy.

Even worse, while I had no interest in reading 500 days of insipid drivel about Ms Cavallari, the obsessive completionist in me is irrationally angry that it terminated early.

Kristin Cavallari - 500 Days of Kristin may have given me serious PTSD. This is completely rational.

Tom Hanks!

This might make me very unpopular, but Kristin Wiig. I feel like she’d be a very sly mean girl in person (the “It’s so cool that you don’t care whether boys think you’re hot” type), and I don’t fully understand the appeal of her comedy. I also wanted to slap her character a lot in Bridesmaids.

“I mean geez it wasn’t even his own dick! Learn to take a joke.”

Well that first part isn’t “just sending a few pics...”, it is indisputably sexual harassment. That’s a crime, and also just all around shitty behavior. It doesn’t matter is if isn’t “as bad”, he should still be called to account. And yes there are levels to this stuff, the argument isn’t that he should have been Matt

I envy your ability to complain about things being “shoved in our faces week after week”. What a bummer for you.

I think you miss the point of the article. The author isn’t saying something needs to happen to White. The point is that the collective response of “won’t anyone think about what these allegations are doing to the man and his career???” is bullshit. Obviously White’s career is doing just fine in spite of being accused

Thanks for writing this, Laura.

Not having worked in the show biz, I can’t say for sure. But it appears from the Weinstein cases that what you said is MUCH more difficult than you make it seem.

Pamela Anderson is a victim of repeated abuse and she had a screwed up view because of it. She is so accustomed to having her boundaries betrayed she feels its normal. Which is why she built a career on her sexuality and is why she picks abusers and has a habit of going back into the same bad relationships again and

What about the women who had Harvey bust into there homes or the apartments that they were living in during filming? Did they not have the right to assume they were safe? Should it have been assumed Harvey would be givin’ a key and they would not be safe in these apartments just because it was paid for by producers

Lol do human beings even know the kind of hotel rooms Hollywood execs stay in? They aren’t single rooms with a bed, a table and a t.v. They’re suites, practically luxury apartments with a sitting room, kitchen, bar, and bedroom. Business is done in places like that. It’s standard.

I see where you going with this, but I would argue that it’s not super helpful. Women are already policing their behavior quite a bit then get mocked for trying to be safe. Predators adapt that is what the do. If something happened it’s because the perpetrator wanted it to happen, not because the victim wasn’t smart

What Pam said/wrote reminds me off all the people talk about rape in comments of Jezebel or other sites. They all say that women should learn how to protect themselves. I think that talking about protection makes sense to some degree but now isn’t really the time for it. Right now victims are sharing their stories and
