If it's running iOS, this could be a very nice phone.

Same experience for me with my mother-in-law's phone (Droid EVO 4G). The OS is laggy as hell. Opening an app, loading a webpage, opening the camera, or even just taking a photo is a spiritual test of patience.

Yeah... this is definitely only good if you NEVER want to use it. It crashes every time I touch it afterwards. They don't require the book store, I'm not sure why it is necessary to have this on every iPhone.

Yeah... it was/is a real problem. I still deal with it, but I don't plan on upgrading until iPhone 5 comes out. It works good enough.

It was that all white shelf boom box thing... Hi-Fi. It was super expensive and was ridiculous. It came out the same year Apple released a new color iPod, but it didn't support video. I remember people being pretty ticked off about it after that media event. However, I remember the Macworld Convention where they

Bought my first Mac (and first computer) back in 1998 right after I got my first job as a teacher. I took out an Apple Educator Loan and purchased the 266Mhz Powermac G3 (beige desktop) along with an HP LaserJet 6MP (which I still use). The Powermac was working great all the way up to 2004 when I moved from Chicago to

I agree with you. I guess the way the headline reads, makes it sound like because of this 'epic fail' on Apples part, they are going to lose some big chunk of change to the competition. When in my opinion, they already have been losing a chunk of change.

So when the iPhone 5 comes out, you know, when the iPhone 4 contracts are all up, what 'killer feature' is going to convince Apple users to drop the phone and apps they love? Right now, 3G or 3Gs owners are looking at the end of their contract and making a choice. This is a pretty great update for those people. As an

That has been my argument too. Most people are on buying cycles that coincide with their contracts. If most people are on 2 year contracts, I'm sure most do not upgrade unless their contract is up. That being said, why would Apple crank out a brand new design every year?

As a loyal Apple follower (for the most part), Apple never said I have to upgrade now. In fact, based on the contracts, they probably figure most people will be upgrading every 2 years. Depending on the cycle you are currently on, most iPhone 4 users won't be able to upgrade to the 5 for another year. So by creating a

Because the 3Gs up from the 3G was really good? C'mon. We all saw this coming.

It's probably not an FU to Apple, but rather not iPad ready yet. Everything on Android feels like a beta test, so I'm sure most people that own Android tablets will be pleased with it, as it is what they are used to. Once they can get it running smooth, it will be available on iOS.

Projector was easy to find. Getting a great screen for an affordable price is nearly impossible.

Give that a couple years and there will be a whole new type of identity theft or maybe just a new iChat feature. :) That's pretty incredible.

Yeah, I would think selling them for 2-3 hundred per pair and going with a standard shoe launch would land them more money than 1500 ebay sales. If they go fast enough, they'll definitely make more. No question.

We can always hope that Blake Bevin's solution will actually autolace when she finally releases them. Sounds like she has a work around for Nike's patent, too.

The products speak for themselves these days and I don't think they need the Steve song and dance to sell the products or instill confidence in the buyer. I think Tim will do a great job and I wish him all the best.

Thanks! That's exactly what I needed. Not fond of the UI, but I suppose it actually makes things easier if people want to access the information through their Dropbox account while still giving access to people without accounts.

Ya know... in Seattle, Comcast had a trial Microsoft UI that was pretty darn good IMO. I'm sure money got in the way with them making the switch, as I am now stuck with the same stupid UI I've seen in other places. I'm not a huge fan of Google UI, but I suppose you're right, anything would be an upgrade from the

I'm not seeing the option unless I add email recipients. Maybe the PC desktop software is different than the MAC software (I'm running on Lion).
