I have the smaller screen, so that could be part of the problem. Mainly I’m trying to scroll through a giant list of artists to select music to play (I’ve got an SD card with 300+ folders at the root).

I’m familiar with the VAG systems (we also have a Mk7 Sportwagon) and I’m not a huge fan.  Too much is dependent upon the touchscreen which is difficult to use while driving.
