I do this all the time as an avid retro game collector. My biggest victories this year were Legend of Zelda 2, and Metal Gear. I always use the rules of. You can't use emulator/save states, no Game Genie, and no internet help unless absolutely necessary.

This is probably a really stupid question but do they have to be spinning Drives? Wouldn't an SSD be better for load cutting? I'm probably a dummy and spinning drives are a requirement. Plus SSD's aren't exactly cheap.
