Exactly. There's a class way to do it. Competitors make good products but ours are just that much better for example.

I think incumbent might have been a poor choice of words on my part. By incumbent I really meant established and viable. They make good products and as you said they're in a renaissance.

Also I have to say the #1 most annoying thing about this keynote was the usual Microsoft and Android bashing.

The hand off thing is cool but I noticed it was always on a "slide to unlock" screen which makes me wonder if you have a security lock screen if it will work. I'd hate to have someone pirate my phone and handoff when I'm at work.

I agree maybe like a female Doc Oc but with hair, or like Kabuki Quantum Fighter. I love that weird ass game.

Now all we need are cool mutant names... Nippledor, Bluegonaut, and Weapon Blonde

I went with an Xbox first since most of my friends went that way. I do have to admit sometimes I am jealous of the PS4 in terms of how smooth their launch has been.

If we were to pick up a PS4 what games are worth getting? I went with an Xbox one to start since all of my friends went that way. Overall I find both consoles lacking at best when it comes to actual games, but I do like the PS4 interface.

yeah I mean really why have lights come on when you walk into a room when I can hit a switch. Or turn over my Air conditioner by hand when I come home. I'm sure there are plenty of older people who can't bend down or have much arm strength that wouldn't mind the gestures.

I think phone companies also use it as a way to differentiate. Now smart phones all look (basically) the same from the outside, but if they can locate just one feature that Android doesn't offer by default, and works well it can sway people.

According to Android Central, There is a 3 GB version as well. Not sure if/where it'll be available carrier wise though.

Looks like I might go in for it. Wish they announced release date and pricing/availability. My Galaxy Nexus is getting pretty long in the tooth.

I very much agree. Not to mention it is arguably the easiest phone on the planet to root so if you don't like it you can change it.

I do hope this is where things are going because so far it's been nothing but what "resolution is your game at" and "multiplayer! It's different this time we swear"

Gotta love Bit Wars 2.0 coming into fashion with the launch of this generation. This time it's not one console vs. another, it's consumer vs. developer.

I very much agree. Sometimes I miss the simpler types of comic plots where half the planet gets destroyed. I know I'm super late to the party but I just got around to playing through Arkham Origins, and I always ask myself "Why the hell would anyone live in Gotham City?"

The level of cursing you'll hear when that drops will be on a whole new level

Great article. I usually have a mix, and personally I always say, play the game how YOU want to play. Don't let people force you into roles (this is coming from a Vanilla WoW shaman who refused to play as a healer ever).

Another thought about this is the price and configuration of the WiiU is all wrong. So you figure you either have people who like Nintendo from their youth, or families buying the console. Why then do you sell it with only one controller (not to mention you need to buy two remotes/classic controllers to play 2 players)

I don't necessarily agree they have to get into the frame rate wars since games that are fun tend to sell well. How many fps is Angry Birds? That game has silly at best graphics and in my opinion not a whole lot of gameplay, but it's everywhere you turn around. They need to get back to making a combo of good gameplay
