I know they said something about the droid shield overheating, but it was a canon strategy in TCW to roll grenades at a certain velocity to pierce the destroyer droid's shields; there was an episode where Ahsoka was teaching a bunch of rookies or resistance fighters how to effectively fight the droids and this was one

Yeah, but if you've seen how jacked he's gotten, he could probably go into a role as some kind of personal trainer or a gym rat. I don't know, though; that kind of takes physical dedication and this show is way passed it's prime; I'd be shocked if it goes on for more than another two seasons.

Well, in the earlier seasons he was in the middle school drama club for a while, including an episode where he lost the lead part in Phantom of the Opera to Luke who has since just drifted aimlessly, cheating his way through school. According to Cam, Luke had the madness in his eyes to be a great actor, which is

Did everybody magically forget that Gloria is also like 20-something years younger than Jay and is a few months younger than his daughter Claire? There's a strange double standard about how Haley is in a weird relationship with Malcom Reynolds but Jay essentially fucking somebody his daughter's age is totally par for

A B? I don't know, I thought last week's episode was better than this one. It was more enjoyable to me in general. They still don't know what to do with Ariel Winter, which seems like a shame, and now they've added Dwight to an already bloated main cast. I guess he's not really main cast so much as a regular who also

Well that's certainly one way of doing it. I've always wanted to be a voice actor but I don't have a distinctive voice to work with and I can't do anything interesting with it. I wonder how many takes you have to do for a children's animated show. It's probably a lot easier than dealing with the lightning fast

Yeah, but they could easily transition him into a dumb jock; I mean, have you seen how fucking jacked Nolan Gould is these days? They even made a passing joke about his 'guns'. He could be this dumb weightlifter character and eventually start a career as a personal trainer or something. Gym rats! Genius!

Poor Ariel Winter. She got hot and outgrew her role as the sexless nerd. This just proves they have no idea what to do with her character at this point. Pretty fun episode overall, though.

I'd love for them to make a joke about how they're officially only in it for Lilly and that adopting a child and getting married solved none of their problems.

The context was that all lesbians are butch, shop class-taking, manual labor-working masculine stereotypes (the lesbian in the episode was a carpenter, if I recall correctly) and Cam is a polar opposite as a feminine gay guy, so they don't mix very well.

I don't know how much normalizing they're doing by including a trans kid for 10 seconds and making an entire plot line revolve around a misunderstanding about him. I felt like he was used as a prop or a set piece more than a conversation starter.

At least they implied Alex has a sexual history. Too often do they forget that Ariel Winter is actually very attractive and write her character to be a sexless nerd stereotype. I guess that's the overall problem, though, everyone is a flanderized stereotype at this point.

If you go up into the comments there's the whole list we figured out during the summer. Here it is again:

There was a post on reddit asking if a fourth family would re-invigorate the series and I basically said that the only way that Hayley and Andy's family having an unwanted pregnancy would be worth including a new permanent cast member is if Hayley gets an abortion and the happy-go-lucky Andy has to live with it.

You know you want Supper Club more than you want TV reviews.

Yeah, like there was one joke last season where he went back to the office to fill in for Claire and he didn't know how to use the photocopier so he just kind of hid in his office because he didn't have a secretary. That joke is funny if he's never been in an office, but he's had 30 years experience with various forms

He is, and furthermore, that's the only joke they ever make about him. He's been flanderized to the point where he can no longer use technology that he was shown using in previous seasons, all for that precious punchline of "Jay is old".

Because he put so much thought into buying specific sausages for every person based on their personalities and tastes. Luke would ruin all the thought that Jay put into it by slathering them in ketchup, thus not experiencing the flavors as Jay intended. It makes sense in context after the little preamble Jay gave

Cam and Mitch are in a fucking dysfunctional relationship and at this point they should just make a joke about how they're only in it until Lilly turns 18 or moves out because every single episode Cam and Mitch are in a fight because they just can't communicate with each other, which is not hilarious, it's just
