Thanks for this, Terrell. My father was USCG for 14 years, and the work they do is unspeakably valuable to the U.S. and its people, but they tend to get little to no respect, up to and including insane plans by President Dipshit McGee to cut their service.

I just happened to be on the Sound during these festivities on Saturday. Looked like a beautiful ship, and I was jealous of all the fun it looked like people were having.

Strangely enough I find the stripped down PD version with black wheels and tiny center caps exponentially sportier looking than any of spiffed up passenger versions including SHO.
