Have you watched Master of None? I and my friends really liked it, but some of my older coworkers didn’t get it. Is there a generational gap for that type of humor, or are my coworkers just dolts?

I can’t handle many more “must-watch” shows - this whole “full-time job” thing really gets in the way of non-stop TV watching.

My wife and I also preferred season 1, though I got really into this one around ep 5. It feels more calculated to me - compelling, but I don’t care about the characters as much as I did in season 1, which is where most of the tension comes from IMO.

Alan, I always hear that we’re reaching the “end of the golden era of TV,” and yet TV continues to keep churning out great shows year after year. I, for one, think that, with the shift to subscription-based networks and niche-demos, this will continue to be the case; that, to be able to get buzz/viewers, you’ll
