I’ll expand on that: Renting a Chrysler 200. My Golf R had a hit-and-run and went to the bodyshop for repairs. The insurance company gave me a rental and they only had a Chrysler 200 as the ‘equivalent’. I drove it for 4 blocks, hated the interior, and the lack of power. I returned it back and proudly took the bus…
What we need is back to basics design! The new MINIs are bloated.
I was watching the race at a shisha bar in Canada, and the commentary wasn’t on, so I got my buddy to give me play-by-play. I think you can pinpoint when my night ended.
Doesn’t this video show that understeer is stupid?
Some are just maintained better than others. I find the ones that are driven lots survive better than the babied cars.
My parents emigrated out of Asia towards Canada for us to start a new life. They moved out of their cushy upper-middle class life, sold everything they own, for greater education opportunities for my brother and I. They worked their asses off to get me into post-secondary, and I worked my ass off to get my brother…
These hatches are getting rarer nowadays! At least here in Canada. I was looking for one, but couldn’t find one unless you wanted a rustbucket, a modded one with a fart can exhaust and questionable service history, or both.
I like how they used a Z3M Coupe AKA CLOWNSHOE! <3
I kid. Pretty excited about this haha
Find an empty lot and drift your car around. Purposely slip so you can work on correcting it. Practice makes perfect and it’s called ‘defensive driving’.
They’re from Quebec. They’re not Canadians. More like Canadiens.
Fred Flintstone-powered
I used it as a daily driver in the summer. It’s a riot! My A/C stopped working, but at least it’s fuel injection so it starts!
Definitely agree, and I love mine to bits. Scary when you’re staring down wheel wells, but ladies love this car. http://imgur.com/a/iNaPW
Perhaps we should. I mean, my 928 S4 looks dashing beside the 924.
I can totally relate to this 100%. I had a new car, a 2012 Golf R. Loved it to death, but once I had the old car bug, nothing can compare; how everything can be heard and felt, the lack of electronic guides or even ABS was endearing to me. So backwards, but there’s just something different about driving a stick shift…
I saw a listing ad on Kijiji (Craigslist for people who buy igloos and moose hats) for a Porsche 912 with decent white paint, running engine, and needing interior work. $4,000
Is it odd that I feel the same way? WHO?! WHO ARE YOU!
