Volkswagen Rabbit Cabriolet.

Uhh... We're running out of oil that's relatively easy to get. It's either we harvest for the harder stuff (arctic oil) or alternative energy will take over. A resource doesn't really 'run out'; it just gets replaced for a cheaper alternative.

I mean, I wouldn't have been surprised if Orlove wrote the article but still.

Had the same reaction as well.

People also react better when there's a blaring horn directed to them when triggered by tailgating.

Silly rabbit. Cars have no souls...

What's wrong with those rims? They seem fitting.

Funny enough, there's a Ford GT in Calgary that does just that. He/she parks on the sidewalk because of a really low ramp and no one bats an eye. If a Civic or an F-150 did the same thing though....

It's true though. Only reason why it's selling so well in Canada and the US.

I'll have to side with this. Unless FCA works on a big rebranding for Chrysler (the "Imported from Detroit" or whatever schpeel isn't really working) , then let sleeping dogs lie.

I did the same thing! Before I bought my Golf R, I test-drove a bunch of coupes that I liked (was looking for a fast car and was sick of my SUV). It was all fine and dandy until I brought my trump card.

Not bad. I would actually consider this if I was on the hunt for an economy car. It's better than the Jetta, Corolla, Sentra... Maybe not the Civic but it's up there.

Modularization makes quality control simpler. It just has to be done right the first time. If you get a bad batch, it will show up in preliminary testing of that batch. Well, theoretically....

He's about to kill the bear that's trying to steal his boar dinner.

Hatchbacks aren't an American thing, just like wagons. I could see VAG doing a one-time release of the Scirocco R as a 'feeler' of the market and go on from there.

I have the MK6 Golf R and I get the power I wanted without the V6 gas pain. Speed and handling can be tweaked with mods, which is what I did, and I'm happy with my purchase. It was the balance of a fast car with the practicality of a hatch.

It's like what we got in Canada for the MK6: Four-door or go home.

-15c? The sun came out. NICE!

All this tax talk is making me curious. Canadian winnings are already taxed so we only see after-tax value (i.e. lotto winnings in Canada don't really exceed $50mil.).
