Hmm... I recall that Beck & Titus were having to buy complete Taurus SHOs to rob the drivetrain from, and were left with takeout drivetrains from the Festivas.

I can’t help but note that the movie the poster rips it’s creds from is “Immortals.”
One of the things I think people just don’t realize is just how bad some of the later seasons of the Clarkson, Hammond, and May run was. At some point it shifted from a car show with antics sprinkled in to an antics show with cars. I stopped watching as it became clear to me they seemed to care less and less about the…
I personally thought that it looked like the HAL9000, but I like your explanation too.
Came here for the Richard Hammond jokes. Was not disappointed.
Level 4 was added and will take over if the weight in the driver seat is low enough to engage ‘Hammond mode’
Well at this point he has survived a couple motorcycle crashes, being thrown from a horse, a freakin jet car crash, and the Rimac crash off a mountain.

“This tea is too hot,” Jared gripes to an empty room. “I’ll just let it sit here until it’s cooled,” he announces. The room responds with silence.
Growing old is required, growing up is optional.
I’ve always wanted to spend the night in one of these. I really have no good reason why, other than I think it would be fun to try. I am a 35 year old child.
My wife and me have a 1990 C4 convertible that looks exactly like this but with a red interior. It sat in her dad’s garage for over 5 years. I would always mess with it. He signed it over to us, I hauled it out. Got it running again etc. It has under 40k miles on it.
The AMG Terminator... it marks the end of Mercedes using letters and numbers to name their vehicles.
Canada. That explains it.... here in the states, if the car is anything more than pedal powered, it has an automatic.... boy we’ve gotten lame.
A lifetime ago we did the same thing, but opposite. We looked at sedans thinking that is what we wanted, but then ended up trying out all the vans mentioned in this story. Except we really didnt want to bother trying the Odyssey because it was considerably more expensive. I think we could have almost bought two Dodge…
I’m going with you on passing the minivan it breaks my heart though. Cost factor is really where it’s at right now. At the time that I bought my Odyssey the price difference between that and the accord was not far off, maybe 5k at the most. That you can justify, however, a 15 to 20 grand difference, no way.
Why yes, I do love Futurama, thanks for noticing, lol. And I’m not just being facetious, I own a Slurm T-shirt and have a Bender poster signed by John DiMaggio, Billy West, and Maurice LaMarche.
