Meh - the Shelbys far predate the Tri-spokes, and look better on non-SPG 900s, IMHO. The look best on the 99s they were intended for, as that IS a ‘60s car at its heart. But one of my favorite Saabs of all time was owned by a fellow Saab Club member - Dark Green 900S 3dr on gold Shelbys. Looked simply perfect.

Saab 3-spokes are rad, but the Grassroots Motorsports Saab 99 rally car disagrees with you. Minilite-style wheels look awesome on 99s.
