Having owned one . No, they are not.
“it’s FWD w/the straight 5 cylinder, these are pretty bullet proof and cheap to maintain,”
Nah. These are not cheap to maintain. And the folly that I’d only have to “maintain”a crusty, 200,000-mile-plus, 30 year old 5000 I picked up off some lemon lot is incredible. Hell the auto transmission alone is so fragile, so rare, and so expensive (~$1500-2000 used, and easily that much again to rebuild it) that…
I had a 5000s sedan. And believe you me, $1200 is no bargain. That car was a frickin nightmare. Anything that could go wrong did go wrong. And I owned my 1989 in 1994. I’ll admit, when it was road worthy it was a pleasure to drive, but I can’t even imagine the headaches another 2o+ years would add. CRACK PIPE!!!
No thanks.
I don’t understand. My buddy had his TDI, and got his buy back. He waxes poetically about what a great car it was, and how reliable it was. In the 6 years he had the car, and the ~70K miles, the sunroof drain clogged, causing $700 worth of damage/repair. Infotainment system bugged out, and CD’s became stuck in the…

I’m kind of weirded out by this trend of creating all female reboots of successful movies. Not that I think it’ll “ruin” the movie or that we don’t need more movies with strong female casts (this cast sounds great and I’m sure the movie will be good). I just don’t like using women as a gimmick. Featuring women in…
Because as journalistic policy, opposing the reporting of the true identity of a globally famous pseudonymous person is insane.
who the fuck cares? it was her jewelry, she owned it, and she is entitled to wear it wherever the fuck she pleases. it is not a reason that she should be robbed and menaced and caused to be in fear for her life.
Do people really disagree with this? Thought it was pretty inappropriate to broadcast his thoughts on social media for him.
Of course it matters. I just don’t see how it counts as a greater claim than that of a people who resided there for millenia until kicked out by a colonial power, who then tried to return after facing numerous pograms, finally succeeding in the wake of a genocide of unprecedented scope. It’s pretty crazy to pretend…
Right?
