Axanar needed to be shut down because the dude was essentially scamming people by the end but suing for millions isn't really needed and I think highly of JJ for deciding to take the high road.

The pocket knife as the V? God help us all.

"The White Walkers are on their way and have wiped out the crows? Let's see if they can handle my little birds."

My love for Varys knows no end. The guy is whip smart and hilarious. Sure, kinda evil, too, but who isn't?

Yeah, definitely. I actually wish the Sparrows didn't have the religious fanatic angle, because it'd be interesting to see this guy become king of the poor and rise up against the rich. Accusing people of sodomy isn't nearly as interesting as the speech he gave tonight.

I think the Lannisters view the Boltons as traitors now.

That would be pretty funny.

I agree. I really liked the High Sparrow's monologue, that felt like something out of the books, but it's been otherwise missing.

Honestly, I have full faith in 2,000 Wildlings beating the shit out of Ramsay's guys at Winterfell, especially with Wun Wun and Tormund.

Wouldn't be surprised if the books did something along those lines. I definitely can't imagine her sitting the Iron Throne (I don't think anyone will, although I'll accept Varys).

While her learning to rule could get boring, I think show-Daenarys' messiah thing shows us why her learning curve in the books was necessary.

I think the ending is going to be really cut down and we're going to lose a lot of the plots from the books.

As a long time book reader, the reunion between Sansa and Jon really got to me. Great scene.

I'm with you. It bothers me because it feels like the show wants us to worship her, too, when in fact she's an entitled warlord who doesn't have a fucking clue how to manage things. Plus, the actress sucks.

The cop must be a fucking idiot if he couldn't figure out on his own that Jon was coming back to life.

I will never not find Black Jeopardy funny. I wish Kenan played that same character in every sketch he's in. The jovial approach that seems to be masking an indignant fury is the best.

I liked Cooke's art a lot, but I had no idea about the Parker adaptations. I will need to check them out.

I like sci-fi/fantasy/horror, but I can't stand the works of Joss Whedon. The characters' "witticisms" make me want to stick my head in a beehive.

I agree. The comments about him dying are definitely gross, and it's also fairly offensive towards overweight people. Yeah, being overweight can be really unhealthy! But to read some people's comments you'd think they all drop dead at 65.

I'm fine with his command of the plot, but I do think he needs an editor to do a better job streamlining things. If he can get back to the pace of A Storm of Swords while keeping the current quality of the prose, The Winds of Winter will be masterful.
