Agreed - it was kind of a carrot & stick type thing. I’m older, so “promises & maybe’s” don’t mean shit. The rest of interviewee’s prob just mentally added it to salary & moved on. That’s lazy & a good way to get screwed over. I have not been screwed over on a job for very long time - I dot my “i”’s AND cross my “t”’s.

They were floating what they thought was a draw to everyone - extra $. I already knew the salary. All the other interviews just nodded and accepted, I wanted facts & figures from real world.

It’s decent job - $ is good, the bonus part was just gravy.

Yes, within 6 months. I earned it by working hard & doing my job.

Nope - I was the first hire in 4 years to get his bonus in the first 6 months, tho’.

In my last interview, after the word “bonus” had been bandied around a few times, I asked when the last time said bonus has actually been paid.
