Grease only needs a tiny nudge to push it into terrifying Lynchian nightmare territory, so I think it works in this case.

Dick Tracy and The Flash TV show had theme tunes to match Elfman's Batman… because they paid him to replicate it.
Except for OHMSS, which had little motifs from previous movies as he sorted through his James Bond Souvenirs Drawer.
No need to get defenestrative.
I got the impression that she's worried about being marginalised or pushed out of the company (and her episode closing question confirmed it), and she's defending her interests by making sure she's the only person who understands how the code works. It makes her irreplaceable.
I was about to post to tell you how wrong you are, but I read it again and you're right. Most wouldn't pay more than $15, but the article actually says "most (40%) suggested they could go as high as $15", which is clearly excluding the people who would pay more than $15 (30%) and the people who won't pay as much as…
I watched the first episode, and the best scene was when Penguin ate a guy's sandwich. I knew then that this was a bad show.
The problem is the DCCU cargo cult mentality. Nolan made dour Batman movies and they were great and everyone loved them, so they have another guy make dour Superman movies.
In the Young Justice cartoon a couple of years ago, she was around Dick's age (I forget whether or not they dated). So you're both right!
Dylan McDermott is that you?
That's what it feels like to be old.
I feel like Joe's been a straight villain since last season sometime. Maybe since he burned that truck full of computers, even.
He bites its rattle off, thus silencing it. Genius.
Brelgian!
I agree, this is unrealistic. In real life, an unlikeable TV character could never threaten to win political office until 2016.
Was cognizant his email word of the day or something?
If your expenses are high enough, even record sales won't save you.
As usual, TV Club, thanks for spoiling the best surprise in the episode with your headline.
Yeah, the Sprawl trilogy are definitely all noirs.
I fail to see how Ghost in the Shell is a noir (surely it's cyberpunk?), but Dr Who has done episodes about identity and minds switching bodies and invisible terrorists and AIs.
