That… not the message I take away from the movie. The macho man leads the group into mistake after mistake, resulting in pretty bad outcomes for most of the group.

Audiences today take for granted the long-form, epic storytelling offered by television series. Sometimes we forget that's a fairly recent innovation, and Babylon 5 deserves quite a bit of credit for raising the bar in that regard. Thanks, JMS.
