I feel like I’m looking at the world of Fallout before the bombs dropped.
Anyone else watch the 1st ep and were just waiting for Mister Handy to float by?
Michael Douglas: “I suggest you don’t overthink it, and just try to have fun.” (turns toward the camera) “And that goes for all of you as well.”
He mixed up Wyoming and Wisconsin. Not just the names, the physical locations.
Finally saw the movie. What I liked that I haven’t really seen posted anywhere”
Janet clearly felt guilt that she enabled a super villain. She didn’t want to talk about it (or her fling with Bill) with anybody
I do not think Quantumania’s Kang is meant to be the “good” Kang, and I don’t think we’re meant to see him as that even after the end credits. All* Kangs are evil, it was simply that this Kang turned his evilness more directly against his alts, but ultimately for his own aggrandizement. He still destroyed…
WHY didn’t Kang, if he truly was the “good” Kang, just come out and say that he was trying to stop all the evil alternate Kangs that want to conquer the multiverse rather than threaten to kill anyone that stands in his way?
I saw a lot of posts saying how this was getting poor reviews on par with the Eternals, and I have to say... I don’t get it —I loved it. The movie was well paced and had a great balance of action, comedy and heart-string tugging. My only complaint ( voiced in other comments) is - why didn’t Janet say anything? Seriousl…
I’m actually curious how much time it took for Cassie to repair that transponder/portal maker, since it’s established that more time passes outside the Quantum Realm.
Agreed on all counts. It was a fun romp. I don’t go to these movies expecting some deep introspection on the duality of man or whatever. I go to these movies for a thrill, and that’s exactly what this was.
I thought that it was a fun Ant-Man movie. It had a bunch of funny moments, some nice character interactions, and a good villain. Also, MODOK is fucking hilarious, I don’t care what anyone says.
I know who Kang is, what I want to know about is why in the header picture he appears to be on Moya from Farscape?
He’s already done a hell of a job proving he can handle the world by directing Mandalorian episodes, including the finale of season 2 with that cameo. Let the man have a trilogy, I say. Get Favreau and Filoni to write it. Have fun.
Yeah this was what I was going to say. Janet fucking Van Dyne should be in the title.
Was gonna mention this. Janet being the original Wasp, the title still holds its meaning.
On the flip side, with so much focus on Kang and Janet, Hank and Hope have significantly dialed-back roles. That makes sense for Hank as he’s always been a supporting character, but Hope’s character is in the title of the movie.
WHY isn’t Kang?
Kang has lived a lot of lives and taken on many different identities
