The wild west days of C Band Satellite tv were an absolute boon for us who lived in the boonies! All of a sudden, living in a valley in the middle of nowhere went from MAYBE getting 3 channels of local tv if you were lucky, to getting all the tv everywhere from every corner of the globe (minus the local stations, but

I came here to say the same thing. Farscape’s ending via “The Peacekeeper Wars” was top notch, in my opinion. I wonder if it wasn’t included because it was technically a two-part miniseries?

And in “Airborne” in 1993.

No “Color Our of Space”? DENIED!

Also, supremely surprised that “Color Out of Space” didn’t make this list.

I am surprised “Lone Wolf & Cub” didn’t make this list.

Or “Lone Wolf & Cub” which served as inspiration for “Road to Perdition”, for that matter.

I also think there was a lot of stories from the time Dark Horse Comics had the property that would have made good fodder for cinematic adaptation. Heck, their original “Alien vs. Predator” story was fantastic as it was and I am still mad that Fox screwed the pooch on that one.

Now playing

Would this qualify as an AMV? I know the band uses this as the official video for the song, since the song was heavily inspired by “Berserk”, and I cannot uncouple the two medias in my mind after seeing it. The video/song hit me even harder after Miura passed away.

There is only one thing I want to say... *ahem*....

That movie was directly responsible for getting me into radio broadcasting and its soundtrack opened my world up to a slew of great talents in music. At the time, I related to Christian Slater’s character big time as a nerdy social pariah who just wanted my true voice heard and to not judged by my looks alone. It gave

They killed the wabbit. 8(...

Yeah one of my friends noticed its lack of “wetness”, mostly pertaining to the dry look of the open wounds on the Cenobites, and that made more sense to me. Also missing was someone completely skinless and slick with blood.

Ah, I see you are a man of culture as well!

Also, having the prisoners make parts for something they knew nothing about is on par with actual historical factories & facilities unwittingly making parts and components for weapons of mass destruction as to keep their intended uses secret from outside espionage. That happened a lot in World War 2 and the Cold War

This is what turned me off to Fallout 76 after a a couple years of playing it; constantly becoming over-encumbered. Then it was a good couple hours of just resource management, go on another mission and then do that all over again!

I watched a film called “Dogs Don’t Wear Pants” on Shudder this weekend about a guy who got into being choked by a dom after nearly drowning, and some of that same Dom/Dog energy was palpable between those two on this episode of “Andor”. I could definitely see that happening to a much lesser degree on this show.

That one gave me the willies back in the day. And not the Groundskeeper Willies! I think its because the Twilight Zone movie version STILL wigs me out and I associated that fear with that Simpsons segment.

As a person who works in hospitality dealing with over-entitled people regularly, this show had me crawling in my skin. I mistook this show for “The Resort” at first, expecting a mystery (and I did end up watching that show later, which was fantastic!), and instead just got a big dose of rich people behaving badly.
