The first scene would be a black screen and the words, ‘The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed’ would come up in silence, and you’d hear the wind, and we’d gradually fade up to this Lawrence of Arabia-esque landscape with a silhouette in the distance just making his way across the hardpan.

Please, please let this happen

In my parents’ basement, unemployed, unshaven, surrounded by empty cans of Steel Reserve, posting on the AV Club, and wishing for the sweet release of death.

Hey so images are showing up for me without having to turn off adblock now! Everything’s coming up Milhouse!

I loved that shot of the blue moon in front of the much-bigger gas giant - the kind of iconography-less but “Yeah, that’s Star Wars” visual that the first few episodes were really lacking.

I just want those nifty Reebok Pumps the guards are wearing.

The last shot in next week’s episode will be the prisoners crating them up Raiders-style, and as they slam on the lid a stencil is dramatically revealed: “POWER CONVERTERS FOR TOSCHE STATION, TATOOINE.”

Mon’s husband is giving me anxiety. If he suspects that Mon might be having an affair and goes into a jealous strop over it he might find out things that he really doesn’t need to know about and Mon might have to have him killed over that. What? No reference to the fact that one of Cassian’s table mates is Melshi, future rebel soldier who dies alongside him on Scarif?

This show is astonishing. The real life stakes of these characters contrasting the brutal banality of fascism executed in the most beautifully produced Star Wars Galaxy to date. I can’t believe this show exists.

At the same time, though, its important to recognize that Luthen massively fucked up when he called the disagreements “petty”.

Week 8 of Damn I Love This Show.

I love that Syril’s superpower is annoying the hell out of all the wrong people.

Yeah this headline is total horseshit.

Seconding this. My plan was to watch it as I had lunch this afternoon, and I scrolled past this article this morning and wanted to throw my computer against the wall. It’s not a complete spoiler, but it does strongly hint at the outcome, and that was a huge bummer. Would it have been that hard to just leave “tragic”

The finale has been out for like 10 minutes, and you go with that headline?  WTF?
