See, this is the sad reality of “making it” as a creative, and it applies globally to the great majority of fields that require any visual medium. Movies, games, comics, even small in-house marketing departments that use graphic designers that double as video editors/motion graphics creators/photographers/video

The sad thing is that’s EXACTLY what Dark Horse Comics did with the Predator franchise in the 90's and they RULED! I had such high hopes that they would have followed the Dark Horse version of “Aliens vs Predator” after seeing “Predator 2" in the theaters because it was so great, but then they dropped the ball and

I am gonna go out on a limb here and say that you hail from the upper midwest in a city near a very large river and do rad custom action figure paints in your spare time. Am I close? ;)

That episode, and frankly the whole season, has just been bananas in terms of how good its been! I am actually kind of surprised that there has not been a lot of coverage of it on this site!

Ha ha!! Strangely enough, I am one of those weirdos that thinks about street lamp design way too often! I am a sucker for interesting light fixtures!

One thing I noticed was that the street lights Christina was walking under in the early episodes of this season are kind of shaped like the tower also. I wonder if they aren’t signal boosters themselves?

Like a threesome, Comic-Con is sweaty, there isn’t much room to move, and it smells like butts.

Damn... July 14th? That’s not a lot of time to assemble a cult and get a ticket off this rock. With a tail that size there has GOT to be some UFOs hiding in there, right?

Stupid sexy Fland-- I mean, Odinson!

This show was like a warm cup of cocoa on a cold winter’s night. A little spot of comfort and light that is now gone in an ever-dimming horizon. Ugh. This. SUCKS.

I love this show so much! The whole Wall subplot that has been running through the series has been just fantastic, and pretty damn meta, really! It’s commentary about humans forming civilization at any scale and the dynamics of tyranny, revolution, and the eventual return to tyranny is pretty fantastic, which acts as

This season of the Orville has been knocking it out of the park consistently so far! Some pretty heavy subject matter and they have navigated it pretty well!

Y’know I literally JUST finished the first season of Night Sky tonight and thought to myself “Well, that was pretty good, but it has an aftertaste of ‘cancelled after one season.’ Maybe I will be proved wrong!” Damn my gut feelings and their accuracy!

I am banking on a VR-style simulation too. Could be like a Sims/Grand Theft Auto-type world.

“He IS the Nutsack Haderach!

I would never toy with the emotions of another member of Team Venture.

It’s coming. The Venture Brothers movie is in the works!

I think what you described applies to Corporate America at large, really. I worked in marketing departments for a solid decade and all those scenarios applied to my department as well. They want blood from a stone. It was enough to make me bail on corporate work all together and just do freelance graphic design while

Mr. Mori’s sentiment really hits me in the feels. It’s kind of like Sam saying to Frodo that he can’t carry the ring up that final slope to Mount Doom, but he can carry Frodo. Miura got the story this far, and holy cats what a story, and it’s still his story, but Mori is honoring his best friend by taking it to the
