I know that this is going to sound like sacrilege, but Super Mario 2 (aka Doki Doki Panic) is actually my favorite Mario game. It was so damn weird, and I was all in for it!  Also, the best character to play in that game was Peach because her floating ability was fantastic!

Papyrus sounds lovely compared to cold stone of the cave walls my generation had to rub up on to literally get our rocks off. Those paintings of bisons were hot though, and TASTEFUL.

Ah yeah! I remember that dude! Wild!

Nice! Was is Channel 19's resident Storm Lord, Dan Breeden?

I am near the Mississippi currently! I lived in La Crosse for 18 years post-high school, but moved to Viroqua about 7 years ago after accepting a graphic design job at S&S Cycle! Now I live out in the sticks!

The character movement is so good that I don’t even mind backtracking to areas I have been before to re-explore! It’s just so satisfying to see that mass of tentacle just glide over the environment. In other Metroidvania-style games, backtracking can be such a bore from having to execute tedious platforming maneuvers,

I hear you there! Heck, I am a single man with no kids, but with my career I STILL find it hard to find time to game.

When Molly the Mouse died, that was a big ol’ punch to the feels.

The only thing about the Spawn movie I enjoyed was the soundtrack.

You make a very valid point.

YES.

There is a good article on Jalopnik about cruelty towards droids in the Star Wars universe. I mean, they have a scene in ROTJ where basically a battery is being physically tortured.

Yeah what happened to her was a huge bummer. It also made me view subsequent viewings of the other movies featuring the Falcon a wee bit melancholy since every time I see it on screen I know L3-37's “mind” is trapped inside it.

You know, after rewatching it myself it dawned on me that Han was pretty much a second fiddle in his own film, but that didn’t really bother me since it was kind of about him coming into his own, which he did by the end of the movie.

That’s the one with the sexy Satan in it, right? Yeah I have seen it. Willem Dafoe is pretty rad as the J-Man in that movie. His best lines involve him talking about spilling beans and not killing seagulls to Judas. It did have a lot of farting in it though and that made my grandma sad, since she said Jesus didn’t

I think perhaps you are correct! I am going to give this movie a watch

Your commentary on the details of a story being fleshed out within the full scope of the work does properly illustrate your point that highlights in a trailer do not tell an entire tale. I just feel that some trailers go a little too far. Like the premise and characters are enough to get me through the door, you know?

I think I will! You make a very valid point as well!
