Over the course of the 23 years since I graduated high school I have moved 13 times. I feel your pain. Mostly in my lower back.

PREACH! So hard to watch that choppy frame rate!

The only thing I don’t like about the Dragon Prince is the choppy frame rate that gives most of the slower motions a really jerky feel. From what I can tell by this trailer for Resistance is that the show won’t suffer from that. I don’t mind CG/cel-shading, by not building video that has a proper frame rate for smooth

Does anyone remember the Spidey story from the 80's where I believe he would make regular visits to a terminally ill child in the hospital? I recall reading that as a kid myself and being kind of crushed by the weight of it, but inspired by it too, since no matter what, Spider-Man was always there for people in need,

Especially when it used to be free on YouTube to begin with and available worldwide. >:[

This was my immediate thought when I saw the suit graft itself to that scientist.

I know I am in the minority here, but Predator 2 was my favorite of all of them. It had grit, intensity, great lines, good practical effects, and critical Gary Busey levels.

I saw “The Predator” last night and it was pretty damn cheesy. The dialog was funny, and Keegan Michael Key was awesome, but other than that it

The true power of we Free & Accepted Masons is in our abilities to put on good pancake breakfasts and the occasional kick-ass steak fry from time to time.

I whole-heartedly agree! Plus stories that span more than one book are perfect for multiple season shows, though I am digging the limited series approach too since it tells the story of the book but doesn’t overdraw it to the point of dissatisfaction.

You hit the nail on the head! Your “novels for TV” statement is why I feel like most adaptations of genre fiction novels should turn to streaming options instead of getting their stories compressed & watered down to fit into a 90 minute theatrical container. The long form allows the source material to breathe and show

LONG LIVE THE NEW FLESH!!

Before learning of Peter Jackson’s more restrained works, and only having “Meet The Feebles.” “Braindead,” and “Bad Taste” (all of which I loved for being absolutely bonkers), the news of him getting the gig of directing “Lord of The Rings” made me laugh a little bit and got me pretty jazzed for full-on orc gore.

“What? No pudding?!”

Ha! Each day that passes I feel more like Old Vlad. Hanging in my bathrobe all day, yelling at kids about witches and devils and Atilla’s blood, offering to shave my guests with a straight razor... I guess that’s just part of growing up to be an old bat, I suppose.

This scene, and the entire movie for that matter, awoke many a powerful feelings in this lad at the age of 15 years.

I used the lyrics of a popular song to create these series of images...

Dude. YES. That movie was BANANAS. Ha ha!!

I had an oddly prophetic dream about this last night. Its weird to see this article pop up in my feed.

Amen to that! I went to California a couple of years ago, and being a true Son of Wisconsin I tried the cheese curds in Oakland to see if they stacked up to what we have back home. While they were pretty good, they weren’t quite up to snuff to the Cheese Curd Motherland’s best kept secret! Ha ha!
