This was my favorite episode of the season so far, surprised by the score.

I liked Bill Hader's screaming fireman sketch and I cried during the Glice sketch. I guess I'm sorry.
Good God, I love Jessica St. Clair.
I actually thought last season was the best since the first and that was mostly to do with Dair.
Three paragraphs in and I gave up on reading the review.

I wasn't familiar with the source of parody in this episode but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The recurring long-story-short gag was pretty great, as was the Diet Double Dew. The jerking off in San Diego callback was nice too. I'd B it at least.
I liked this line a lot, "'Don’t you think the state of your very soul is the highest stakes of all?' it asks. Then it lights 50 cigarettes."
I don't know why, but I love Jay's principal character. Just him saying "teachers and students" gets me giggling.
I liked it a lot. Fuck an emotional depth.
My ABC affiliate didn't air the episode. They aired a special on Brazilian Carnival instead. I'm mad.
I've stopped reading the reviews because I haven't shared the same concerns as McNutt. I hold no badge of honor, I just don't see the point in reading a review I know I wont relate to. My apologies if I came off as smug or anything.
I liked this more than Parks and Rec tonight, so I'd say this was a really solid episode. I'd say much higher than a C, but I think I've been much less critical of The Office as of late than most. Not reading the review, but I'm guessing the low-ish score stems from some dumb story observation that I probably didn't…
An episode of Louie that gets an A has nothing to do with an episode of SNL that gets an A.
I'm not a fan of the Manuel Ortiz show and I thought Weekend Update was pretty bad. I like the episode more now after reading this review and thinking back on how great that Cecil sketch was, but I definitely don't think this was the strongest episode thus far. But yeah, Charlie Day hosting should be great.
Too lazy to read the review right now, just wanted to point out that the tattoo reveal at the end of the episode made my heart melt.
Oh, well I can't do anything about those people. Aside from forcing them to write musicals for the audience of Kim Jong-il, I suppose.
I personally prefer this. I'll check out The Simpsons more than a few times throughout the season, but I don't care for the rest of Fox's current animated programming. I did leave the TV on briefly tonight and caught some of The Cleveland Show and was pleased by the Ric Flair cameo if nothing else. Woooooooo!
To Hayden's credit, I don't think he ever suggested we give up on the show.
I kind of agree with this. The bit about Death holding no power against a corporation got a chuckle out of me, but the piece generally felt way overwritten.
