Clearly she has had (and still has) some body issues, which she discusses in her books. For those who have body issues, pregnancy can be super traumatic. She has worked hard to get her body to a point that she is content with.

I'm really excited that they are bringing the BSC back. I found these girls super-empowering when I was a kid, and compared to a lot of other potential literary role models for girls, they have more intelligence and practical wisdom to impart.
I have a unique conundrum. I can re-create looks to near perfection; so if a hair stylist or make-up artist shows me how to create a certain look/style and what to use where, I have no problem. But that is ALL I can do. If you were to hand me a bag of cosmetics and tell me to have at it, I would end up looking like…
There HAVE to be some positive and encouraging comments on either Twitter or YouTube, right? Perhaps you do a follow-up post with some of those? Because I, too, am just about in tears, and need to believe that this brave soul is receiving some support.
