Offsite fabrication is faster and cheaper due to highly specialized and available labor, readily available (and already purchased) tools, warehouses, etc. You’d have to build a giant warehouse and have multiple cranes, not to mention all the specific welding gear, CNC machines and other highly specialized equipment

Yeah, but then that list just turns into 250 GTO, F40, Ford GT, 959, etc... That’s just a generic ‘best cars of all time’ list. I like Torch’s idea of more mainstream cars.

I’d argue late model E-Types don’t qualify, only Series I. The Series II lost some power and the Series III added a front grill, which changed the look (albeit slightly). I’ll concede the Viper though, because I’m looking at Autotrader and I found a ‘95 for $26k. Though you’re gonna get people that say it’s a death

WRX

E-Type is the only other car I can think of that fits this list. Was made in large enough numbers that it’s not unobtainable, or can be deemed a super car, is strikingly gorgeous, was ahead of its time in engineering and sounded phenomenal.

STI and Evo? Bah! The GM/Ford Cobra I’m assuming you mean is the Shelby 427, right? They made like 350 of those - talk about unobtanium. You’re extremely fortunate to even see an original in your lifetime. Also, the 944 is ugly and slow. There, I said it.

Read the NSX summary:

Your point being that Ford beat Chevy to the market, which I agree. But the GTO also came out in ‘64, so someone out there is going to take exception. The problem with American muscle cars is that they were ridiculously popular, affordable, and baby boomers all owned one at some point. So someone always has a

AND, if you choose to open a new account, they’ll do a hard pull on your credit, which will also drop your score a few points.

The ironic part is that a hard pull on your credit to open a new card, in the hopes of improving your score by having more open credit, also hurts your short-term score.

Same thing happened to me - I paid off my 5 year loan in 3 years and my score dipped 20 points. The logic behind it, or what I’ve always heard, is that creditors don’t like it when you pay off loans early because they don’t realize as much interest (even though the vast majority of your interest is paid in the first

I can’t wait for car manufacturers to give people a reason to never turn their heads

Start-up electric car company offers lucrative vehicle with ridiculous specs for low price, commenters on car website are skeptical.

My friend bought a year old Alltrack with 15k miles, slapped a bigger turbo on it (either from the S3 or RS3, I can’t recall) and got an APR tune, he thinks he’s up around 300 hp. Yeah his warranty is fucked, but he has the car he wants for way, way less than a similarly tuned wagon, so he can afford the repairs (or,

IMO the definition of a car isn’t always the platform it’s built on, especially with modular platforms becoming increasingly popular to increase efficiency. Also, this is Subaru’s fault for making the Outback look more like an SUV and the Forester look more like a wagon. Eventually they’re just going to make one half

Holy mother of pillars. Does that make it a sedan since it only has three?

The irony of the UK parliament members laughing at May as she tries to push through any sort of legislation regarding Brexit is just so painful to watch. You’d think that since their constituents voted for it, they’d at least bite the bullet and try to move forward (or work with May).

Realistically, you need 200 to drive practically, 300 to have fun, 400 to swing your dick around and 500 because you can (or because you drive a 3-ton Bentley or Rolls)

It’s quite good. The interior is great, feels luxury all around. They focused a lot on making it more sporty and the SH-AWD is fantastic. Plus it comes standard with adaptive cruise, forward collision, etc. But the cabin definitely pipes in a ton of 2.0 Turbo 4 sound, which is not very good. And there’s like 12

I should have been more specific - you can get a discount on a V90 Cross Country, which is not special order and is allocated. So if you don’t mind your wagon lifted a few inches with a bit more plastic cladding, they’re virtually identical.
