When Cletus and Brandine posed back-to-back for their commercial, it hit me that Jeremy Renner would play a great Cletus in a live-action Simpsons episode (it's going to happen, you guys. We just gotta accept it.)

Chief: [later] Well McGarnagle, Billy is dead! They slit his throat from ear to ear.
McGarnagle: Hey I'm trying to eat lunch here!

I was just about to bite into my pepperoni and mushroom pizza and then the scene cut to Carol smearing zombie blood on her face.

I just watched the episode and had to stop and start multiple times because so much was happening and I couldn't follow. Perhaps just like a pre-teen school play? I'll set it down and re-watch it again in a week.

I checked hansel's commenting history and it looks like he has been around for a while so that was a bad example. But I can't be the only one who have noticed the Yahoo type of commenter been increasing around here. The AV Club could have links popping up on some other website as some advertising or something via

This is what you get, AV Club management. When you decide to use Disqus and expose the site to a wider audience, you get shit comments like this. The golden age of the site has passed and if you're not careful, you're going to lose the true heart of the site: the thoughtful , smart commenters.

Is it me or was that storyline with Quinn and the hotel manager seemed right out of Glee?

Are you telling me a man of Corey Stoll's heighy and build got his ass kicked so quickly by scrawny Pakistani? That was not believable. #maher

Respectfully, you're leaving out an important point, that all of his misfortunes will be transferred onto someone else. I think that detail would prevent many people from accepting the deal.

Just want to squeeze this in on possibly the last significant posting for the show:

Question: can you argue for less damages if you injury a motorcyclist because he would have been less hurt if was in a car instead?

When the Griffin family saw the Springfield sign, I literally said, "Shut the fuck up." I may or not have drank a six pack already.

The Office and 30 Rock has been off the air for an entire season. Feels like a million years ago.

Said the evangelical Christian.

What happened to the guy Sonya was banging? I guess him leading to those other bodies was his entire purpose? Dud character.

The golden turd arc got updated last night. It was ok…

How is Sue Storm (or the Fantastic Four, for that matter) gritty? It's always either about her shaky marriage with Richard or The Thing being tortured over his body image. (I'm sure Johnny was somewhere sorry about accidentally setting that orphanage on fire or something.)

Rebuttal — Patton vs Montgomery. Evidence: The movie Patton.

Uneasy alliances…are alliances ever not uneasy?

Dude, speaking of fine buttocks, anyone else notice how tight his pants were in that Mission Impossible movie when he was stretching during the skyscraper scene?
